I’d be on them hard. Cussing them up one side and down the other. That’s a bunch of nonsense

Normally I would but I'm already short on hours now and recaps started so I'll just use this time to get a reset in.

Some may pass it off by saying, "That’s just trucking", I beg to differ. I cannot fathom why driver's put up with this nonsense as it's costing you money and their own ineptitude doesn't effect anyone else. I'm guessing sitting in line for trailer washouts is free too?

they’ll deadhead you upwards to 2-300 miles if you get on them. That TN terminals usually short on empties as well though

Funny thing is there is like 10 shaffer trailers at Yoplait right now but they all sealed. Think they are hoping one gets unloaded soon for me.

    JoeyJunk Thanks this.

They bobtailed me from the W. Memphis yard all the way to the Nashville yard just after the new year...but I have some of the after hours trained properly...they would rather deadhead me half way across TN than hear me rant, getting yelled at by their boss is much easier than getting it from me.

IH9300SBA, Lonesome, JoeyJunk and 5 others Thank this.

They had me pick up an empty on a drop lot just 1.5 miles away from the Tyson place. 3 shaffer trailers here...better not have been here the whole time!

Anyway got my preload bound for Virginia.

Oh yah...funny thing...found where my dropped trailer went....the trailer I just picked up at the Tyson place is the SAME trailer I dropped at Americool down in Nashville

After I get unloaded tonight, I head for Grand Island to live load tomorrow afternoon headed for Oakland for Sunday afternoon. Gawd I hate meat loads, but it's tough to turn down a 1600 mile run, especially after turning down that run to the Seattle area. This is a live load, live unload. It's going to Pacific Transload...sounds like another export load.

The only thing that would make it better is if this load out of Bolingbrook could be a drop and hook here in Norfolk instead of live unload. The consignee has empties, but butthead said he checked with the CSR, and this shipper's loads aren't allowed to drop/hook there.
