Well, I have almost joined the Associated Wholsale 6 hour club. Appointment was for 22:30, got empty at 04:00, but, had 2 cases rejected for ripped open boxes...so, if you include the call to OSD...I was 10 min shy of 6 hours.

Then I got a surprise message...the load that was supposed to be a live load, has now been preloaded. So, now that my split break is complete, I'll make it well into WY today. Some days you just get lucky.

Considering two weeks ago they had something like 5 feet of snow… Definitely take advantage of it..

Anyone been to the new lineage logistics in Portsmouth, VA?

Shows up as a drop and hook with a 0700 - 2200 window for pickup but due to how long this late load took to get unloaded, I won't make it within that window. Dispatch is also clueless when I ask if shipping was 24/7 and was told simply that they didn't know. Get no answer when calling so am at a loss, if I should just show up outside the window or wait till morning.

Place is so new there isn't even any reviews from drivers of it.

Finally got an answer. Dispatch got with me and told me they close at 2100 and were also puzzled why the planners put 2200 as the late time.

Easy rolling today on I-80, not to windy and temps in the high 40’s. It appears more of your trucks have been turned up, it’s a bit more work to pass you now :).

    Speed_Drums Thanks this.

@supersnackbar the issue you had recently with the reefer unit being turned back on multiple times , the current unit on the trl I’m pulling now did that numerous time this morning and i asked my asset mgr if they were turning it on remotely and they said no..they transferred me to breakdown and breakdown mentioned that recently the reefer manufacture has been doing remote updates from 3G to 4G and while he couldnt be for certain he was contacting carrier about it..it’s a dry load i have…he informed me that if it happens again on empty trailer to just hit the master kill switch and turn it off that way.

In a door 6 hours early at king soopers. If I get out of here before midnight I’m shooting straight for Rawlins to dodge most of that white stuff. Being hopeful however

    Bumper and Speed_Drums Thank this.
