I don't really worry about it. I've been -10 to -15 and never had any issues with it...as long as my bunk heater works. If they forbid us from using fuel treatment and I freeze to death, my wife will be part owner in the company and you'll find she is a fair boss to work for

When I get bored I like to look up rookie new drivers posting videos of their time at the other Mega's.
Found one of a team from CR England who broke down on some back road in the winter and CR England just left them there for days. After 3 days a passing vehicle gave them a lift into town and cr England wanted to go after them for abadononibg the equipment.
On the plus side, it's been a few months since I last saw a death msg from mission control. Either i stopped receiving them at some point or people stopped dying. -

Left Lathrop, CA at 16:30 on Monday (Pacific time), I am sitting approximately 75 miles from Edwardsville by 16:00 Thursday (central)...and I really don't feel like I pushed other than today (667 miles). Now, no preplan even though I set my PTA for noon tomorrow. I will pester butthead in the morning to confirm that I can indeed drop this a day early, and maybe that'll get the preplan wheels turning.
Wyoming was it's typical bipolar self yesterday. Came in the state, fairly calm and brisk, the closer I got to Elk, the more overcast it got with flurries. By the time I got to Laramie the flurries got a little heavier. By the time I got to Cheyenne the bridges were getting to the point where you could feel the front end lightening up a little. After Sherman it was so foggy in spots you could just barely see an 1/8 mile or less. Then, once I was past the westbound Port of Entry and the T/A on the east side of the state, everyting cleared up, but was chilly.Itsbrokeagain, Speed_Drums, JohnBoy and 3 others Thank this. -
Recruiting numbers must be down... they're back at the multiple "recruit.....recruit....recruit" messages per week again.

Note to self… same address doesn’t mean same drop and pu. Those who been to Tyson in edwardsville ks probably know.. lineage on the opposite side of the building has similar PU#s and the same address.

Got load dropped this morning, but butthead didn't remember saying I was allowed to drop early, but he made contact with the CSR who made sure it was o.k. with the customer. However, no empties available. So, I had to get authorization to bobtail to my next load (Hershey's out of Edwardsville)going to Clarksville, AR before midnight tonight. Not sure if I will get that paperwork scanned in on time or not, but if I do, it'll put me over 4100 miles (I carried a bunch over, only had 1700 last week). Then, back to back preplans. After Clarksville, I pu in Neosho tomorrow going to Sikeston, then pu in Sikeston Sunday going to Lansing for early Tuesday.

I’m in Fort Wayne Indiana for the night. A cool 14 degrees outside.
