What can someone accomplish in 3.5 days? It takes me 1 full day to switch gears from road mentality to home mentality. I couldn't do anything but sit on the couch and watch the dvr before having to go back out.

I’m out on Monday home on Friday. Have plenty of time to get done what I need too on Sat and Sun. Plus still have time to have a social life and not be that guy that lives down the street that isn’t ever home.

    Speedy356 Thanks this.

Yes,because they now have cab releases.
Which I was unaware of when I first. got the new truck, and almost dislocated my shoulder trying to release it manually.

Cab release or not, you should still be able to pull it by hand. Sounds like something's wrong.

    Bumper Thanks this.

My hat is off to you for being away from home for just 5 days and being happy about it. I certainly couldn't do it.

The in cab release makes the pin harder to pull due to the air pressure on the cylinder allowing in cab release

baha, Bumper, O.Henry and 1 other person Thank this.

I usually yank 'em by hand, cab release or not. Never had this issue.

    Speedy356 Thanks this.

Mine only seems to want to work when the fifth wheel is level. Any incline and it’s a struggle.
