We've had a couple of guys have issues when trying to manually pull. Enough that we had a safety video going over proper ergonomic positioning with a special "if it don't want to go, don't force it dummy!" emphasis.

Took a week hometime got the truck serviced and such. Come back to messages to report to terminal / call someone at safety. Am I on trouble or peeing in a cup??

Unless someone filmed you bringing booze into the truck or doing something unsafe, it's most likely a random.

My luck, it always happens the moment I exit a bathroom at a terminal.

Most likely a random. The reason they do that is because there is a time limit between the time they tell you to pee in a cup and the time you give a sample...so, they have you report to a terminal, then they inform you that you have won the random drug test lottery.

I was gonna just take a week off after 46 days out since my last hometime (which was only a couple days for Christmas). I have a 20' x 24' addition to my home that I built right after my mother-in-law came to live with us, and I had a catastrophic failure of the vapor barrier I put down under the sub-floor when the dryer vent came apart, and for months, dumped all that wonderful warm and humid air under the addition rather than outside.(actually, it was more of a failure of my brain thinking Tyvec was a vapor barrier, which it isn't) The plywood for the entire sub-floor delaminated. I had gotten one side of it done last year, but the other half, which is the main room where my wife's work area is, finally got so bad, I had to replace it this hometime. I truely didn't think it was gonna take me this long to strip it down to floor joists and redo the entire thing, but it has...this morning, new hardwood floor goes down. I eneded up extending my home time by 2 days, which didn't seem to be a problem when I asked my A/M to push out my PTA. I don't think I have ever had so many muscles hurt in my entire life, even when I 1st started hauling glass. I will be glad to get back behind the wheel and moving freignt.

Talking about my luck, looks like my bunk heater died.

Doesn't even turn on. Moment you hit the power button your greeted by a red light and an error msg saying to check the blower motor.

On the plus side, current load delivers just south of our Atlanta terminal tomorrow. Bad news it delivers just South of Atlanta. Was hoping to deliver this and park away from Atlanta but fate has decided I need to deadhead now to our terminal to have this looked at.

Thankfully I'm far enough south now that outside temps are around 50.

####, glad to hear you didn’t have critters living underneath if it’s been damp that long.
