We're not called WINTER HAVEN for nothing. The weather is absolutely gorgeous.

Nothing quiet goes as planned. Got to my dropnoff at 0200 only to be told they did not have any room and to come back next day same time.

Managed to find parking at this hour and night dispatch was going to have me just drop it at our yard in Atlanta, but I was out of hours.

Since I wouldn't be able to run till night anyway, we decided to just have me drop next day.

There goes my plans of getting a 34 in while shop looked at my bunk heater.

Going to have to head up and hope they can squeeze me in on a weekend at the shop since usually just 1 mechanic on duty on weekends.

On another note, was stuck just 40 miles NE of Atlanta on i85 due to a wreck. Currently have light rain showers coming through here and an old dominion put himself and his 2 pups sideways on the right lane. Took about 1.5 hours to go 5 miles.

Always funny tho to see people look at the completely stopped traffic and think it's a good idea to join in and start to merge onto the highway. Saw a few after a bit change their minds and try to reverse back up the ramp as well.

Well, according to this weeks propaganda video, they're gradually turning on Co-Pilot on the Peoplenet...I wonder if it's optional. My unit slowed down considerably after Drivewyze, I can only imagine how much more it'll slow down when they suck up that much more memory for an app most drivers won't use. Personally, if they force it on me, I will just uninstall it.

Finally back on the road. I was up until 2:30 last night getting everything moved back into my addition after I got done with tbe floor. Picking up in Brunswick going to Murfreesboro for anytime tomorrow, then head to Goodlettsville picking up a load going to Henderson NC for Monday.

Lineage logistics south of Atanta nothing but trouble. First they say I can drop 24 hours from appointment now it can't be more than 2 hours. Already have next load that's preloaded and ready to go but can't get it till these guys let me drop. That next load is live at the Walmart DC in Washington courts, OH, which is good cause I'll have better repair chance at our Columbua yard but won't make delivery if I keep getting stringed along here.

    tallguy66 and mdmgolfin Thank this.

I use the co pilot app exclusively on my IPad for trucking gps. No stand alone trucking gps even comes close.

My old school rand-McNally will get me to the town. Goggle earth will show me where and how to get into place. Never have a problem. We do a lot of job sites to new apt complex’s that won’t show up on a gps.
