I dug out my old Moore hoodie when I was home. The next time I go to Lincoln I plan on wearing it when I go in to get lunch out of the cafeteria.

    Outstanding. If a driver can’t comprehend 13’6” what’s the chance they’ll comprehend 13’6”?

I’d say slim to none. At Estes, the first 2 numbers of a trailer represent the trailer length. They ran out of 53xxx numbers so started over with 52 for new ones. There were guys who didn’t catch on to this and swore they could get around better in the city because “that foot shorter makes a big difference”. Sure does buddy, go get em.

I wonder if the DOT gives them grief because they're oversized according to the signage..." 13'6 is the limit, you're 13'7 according to your trailer marking, where's your oversize sign and permit? "

I haul 14' high reefer and dry van trailers pretty regularly within Texas on the account I'm on at Schneider. We just don't take those out of state.

@supersnackbar did Craffer always have PeopleNet? The reason I ask is I was bored getting unloaded and digging around in my Omnitracs and found a bunch of Shaffer stuff. This truck or head unit I’m guessing came from you guys, idk.

Way back when I was a Crete driver, we had a mix of Peoplenet and Qualcomm. Not sure when they went to the dark side with all Peoplenet
