Fuel pumps are heated and such, you’d think the same for def since the tanks are underground…they obviously didn’t think this one out.

Scratching my head on this one.

Filled truck in Cheyenne, all the way up, and parked for the night. Nothing of interest when I did my pretrip and still had full fuel. Well I got around 280mi, I had to do a double take cause it showed me at 1/4th of a tank left.

Parked and looked under the hood and don't see any leaks and there's nothing dripping under the truck so either its reading wrong or I'm losing massive amounts of fuel going down the road.

Peoplenet says I'm averaging 7.2mpg so something just isn't adding up. So far all I'm doing is sending in new fuel requests to keep her filled up till I can get this looked at.

They did say they replaced the seals on 2 of my fuel injectors when I was in the shop so for all I know is them new seals aren't sealed anymore.

    Found the issue.

No leak, but a frozen/blocked line.

When I got to my fuel stop I was completely on the red line. However when I took the fuel cap off my driver tank I saw that it's completely filled to the top.

For whatever reason I'm only pulling fuel from passenger side. Now just need to get to a shop to have this fixed.

But...but...but Creaffer has such great equipment...at least that's what some on here say to me when another truck has so many issues I have to switch, and I voice my hatred for Junk-liners.... :biggrin_2552:

On my 8th load of this pay period. (Picked the 1st one up last Friday, but didn't deliver until Saturday). I told op's that after I delivered in N. Platte yesterday, my PTA was this morning. But, like usual, they ignored it and put me on a load that delivers down by Gardner, KS today (I hope, I told them I couldn't be there until 11:30-12:00, but haven't gotten an appointment sent to me yet). Then it's to the KC shop for an overdue service, a bunk heater fix (which means winter will now end, and I won't need it), and a few other items taken care of. Ended up being a dang good mile week. I will be pushing 3800. I was briefly chatting with the 'youngin' I swapped loads with yesterday...but he said he was exhausted, and had to hit the bed...he ran 670 miles yesterday. When I was his age, 670 miles was what we called 'almost there', and it was time to switch to the 2nd or 3rd logbook...kids today, geeez :biggrin_2559:

Not sure whats going on over at Daseke. Yesterday in N Platte, I saw a Central Oregon truck pulling a Walmart trailer out of the DC. Today, I passed a Big Freight that was pulling a van trailer (with IL plates, but Big Freight is a Canadian based company)..are they trying to become a box hauling company now too?
