Risk mgt was able to make contact with the co and they have identified the driver..the company only has 3 drivers…of course the owner tried to deny it was his driver or his truck that did it…but when asked if it was an ideal lease truck and truck # he changed his tune somewhat then when he was informed it was on our driver’s dashcam and that the state patrol has taken a report on it, owner really changed his tune then even more…hope they hang this fool..we need less of these idiots like this outhere.

 

Under texas cdl rules and im certain its fmsca deal too...he’s facing at least a 1yr automatic suspension of cdl for the hit & run…but i agree with you that unless this industry cleans up their act in the quality of fools they hire, this will be a continuing problem..

i think making it harder to obtain a cdl needs to be done..but won’t hold my breath on that one.

 

Mine dropped this morning. It happens once a year. I asked a long time ago and was told the payroll mgr sets up everything in advance. When that mgr is on vacation, it doesn’t get set up til the day before. That causes the delay.

 

guys clearly a ####head and will get whatever’s coming his way. Orientation at western express might hold him up some more

 

Just wait until the 18 year old kids get their OTR CDL's.....

 

With some of these drivers out here now, they look and act like 18 year olds now.
