I was in there a month ago fueling up company car. Receipt didn’t print at pump so I had to go inside. Some ragged old guy with a pounder of some Ice beer unknowingly cut in front of me. I didn’t care. The little female armed guard Called him out and made him move. She was dead serious with him and I laughed all the way back to car. Need more of her in truck stops correcting disrespect!!!

Off I go to the west again. Picked up a load of ice cream out of Sikeston going to Henderson NV. Not quite all the way west, but close enough. Another deep freeze load.

Hit a bit of snow about 50 miles from Springfield MO, not sticking to the road, but it was enough to cover the OnGuard radar unit for a bit. All the technology that goes into these nanny systems and they haven't figured out how to prevent ice and snow buildup on the dang thing.

I hit a band on snow on 40 east of Oklahoma City.... 25 miles I was through it and roads got dry....
I usually stay east of the Mississippi.... but my overlords know I like to stretch my legs when they have a solo run west.... I delivered to Brooks KY and then Memphis TN.... deadhead to City Of Industry, CA for a load back east.... usually left for our teams.... but they are busy....
easy 10 days and gives the wife a reason to miss me....
Weird staying in the truck more than 2 nights in a row though!!
Drove from Memphis, TN to Amarillo, TX today. 738 miles. 8 minutes left on the clock....

That's enough snow to close schools in your area.

Had an odd error happen with my Peoplenet yesterday. When I picked this load up in Sikeston, I moved around their yard on YM(yard move). It's suppose to clear automatically when the truck reaches 15 mph. Which on the 'events' list, it showed doing when I left, at least as far as which line my time showed. However, the color of the grid stayed in YM purple the rest of the day, regardless of which duty status I was in (including SB after shutting down in Big Cabin) and this morning's 1st event was YM in Sikeston, MO and SB (without being on duty). Still on YM purple. I had to delete the YM from yesterday and just show it as ON Duty...Peoplenet, what can I say...high priced garbage as always.

And the hits just keep on coming. I deliver and pick up at the same location going to Grandview WA for Monday (any time). The only down part, my WA load will be ready to drop and hook to after Sat. morning, but they won't accept my inbound until Sun morning for some reason. Either way, I will have over 2600 miles by Monday, and enough time for a reset.

Any of my Poly followers know if the Railroad Hotel and Casino in Henderson still gives CDL discounts? I see they expanded their parking lot and made a truckstop there, but some reviews say they charge to park, and some say it's free. If I am gonna have to pay, I may as well stay in a room with cable and a bathroom 10' away if it's still priced right
