whether or not and what part he plays in these situations is besides the point. If it bothers you so much, don’t read his thread. Ignore or block home and you’ll never see his posts.
Coming on his thread and complaining about his complaining is just plain stupid. He ain’t gonna change cause or your sage advice…
I used to try and convince him of a better way… but he does SSB. You gotta realize he don care what anyone thinks. So either enjoy his posts or block him. but stop trying to cure him.

That seems like such a easy concept but these 2 continue to whine about it

They still require all employees to get this

    images.jpeg-13.jpg

And I will NEVER be forced to take the covid poke in order to gain employment.

please...explain to me, what I (and numerous other drivers at this company) have done that causes the problems I (and a large number of Crete/Shaffer drivers) to have so many equipment issues like opti-idle and bunk heater issues, Peoplenet issues, Nanny-radar issues, transmission issues, engine fault issues due to the company's poor maintenance scheduling. I bet there is a majority of drivers at this company that have been assigned to more than one truck in the last 12 months that were made to switch trucks because of a reoccurrence of equipment problems. In my case, I have had 6 or 7 trucks in 14 months. That surpasses even Poly's crap equipment problems. And don't say your usual excuse 'all companies have problems with the new trucks' because that simply isn't true. The last place I worked, the biggest issue I had was the mDrive and a replacement set of injectors that were bad on the 1st truck...and in the 3 years I was there, I was in 2 trucks. And I only switched because there was an open truck 1 year newer with an APU. The original truck I was getting out of was still running fine. So, if I get a little pissed off because of another faulty truck that is roasting my ###, or freezing my ###, or slamming on brakes because of the imaginary vehicle it thinks is in front if me, or a Peoplenet that can't make up it's mind if it wants to stop working every other day...and the company's "so called" technicians can't figure out what the problem is, then I am sorry if that bothers you...but I vent...and if you don't like that, then please, do us all a favor, hit the ##### ignore option, and you'll never have to read my ranting again.

I don't speak for others but personally I enjoy the rants. Cheap entertainment. Anytime I think I'm having a bad day just read a few of your rants and realize I have it pretty good. Just baffled as to why you don't just move on to something else. But it's your business and your blood pressure so carry on.

No company is perfect im very well aware of that, trivial stuff shouldn’t be sweated but things like you’re describing not getting home for medical appointments are not acceptable but what several people are pointing out is he seems to have the exact same problem eveywhere he goes.. at some point he has to take some responsibility for what’s going on…that’s what folks are pointing out…

What is so trivial about having to swap trucks as often as they make us(when they break down as often as many do), or when your opti-idle quits and leaves you stuck in the heat without a/c at the end of your driving day...or when you bunk heater takes a dump in the middle of your break, in the middle of nowhere because it was the 1st time the #### thing was serviced in 250-300k miles. I am just trying to show people how overbearing this company's bullcrap is, and how neglected their equipment is in regards to services and preventive maintenance. This company micromanages drivers like they're ignorant morons and feel they are so unintelligent that they have to be reminded to do everything but breathe. If they want professional drivers, then they need to treat us like professional drivers, but when they treat us like mindless idiots, that's the type of driver they want I guess. If they have to dumb down things for everyone simply because of a small percentage of drivers that need it...perhaps they should have a special group of A/M's that handle the "special needs" drivers, and let the rest of us have a normal A/M that lets us think for ourselves.

I guess the people in Lincoln think, if they're awake, everyone must be...(the time shown is Lincon's time, not my time...I'm an hour earlier)

What should he say? Happy morning/day/evening/night everyone?

You make some valid observations and arguments, but I think that example is why some think you are over the top.
