My fuel stop was once again E. St. Louis, and once again I had a problem. I was too low on fuel and hours yesterday to bypass and request a new solution. After fueling, I went in to get my cash...and the newbie-in-training cashier hit the wrong button, and the transaction failed, then they couldn't find the manager's swipe card to fix it. Plus, before that, the shower couldn't make up it's mind whether it wanted to roast me or freeze me. So, I was a little delayed getting to KC to t-call this load. Honestly, that Pilot could be the next in line for Pilot's burn down renovation list and it wouldn't bother me one bit to bypass it's empty burned out shell. Then, on the way to pick up my next load, one of the bungee cords holding my fridge door shut broke, and most of my food came out... But I did find out one usefull tidbit of info. If you're picking up at the Smithfield/Eckrich plant in Junction City, KS, the Sapp Bros. at the corner where you turn in to get to the plant has an account with Crete/Shaffer for washouts, so you don't have to fight a line at a Blue Beacon. I have never seen that washout with more than the one person getting a washout done.

Little hint on the fridge door. On my picture, where my finger is, just push down a bit on that flat bar til it bends just a little. Not too hard. Just enough to give a very slight dip. That will allow the door clip to grab that metal tab and keep the door shut. Took me 6 months to figure that out...lol

I am nominating you for helpful tip of the week. Took a look and my little tab was bent out at an angle. Took my channel locks and straightened it and bent the middle down, and it now has a firm sounding 'click' and doesn't come open unless I want it to. Thanks!!!

What. Tell me you’re joking. I’ve been in there so many times to get A&W on the way to the salt mine from KC and if I’ve been missing out on heated bidets, well the old saying “my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined” comes to mind.

I try not to repeat myself. I had mentioned the one's in the Percival, IA Sapps last year sometime. Heated seats, 2 thumbs up, the fanny wash, 2 thumbs down....Pilot has had normal toilets with too much pressure for years...the toilets that, when you do a courtesy flush, your whole exposed backside gets a cold washing. Never cared for that feeling.

The Sapps in Percival IA actually had them for sale last year. Not sure about the one in KS, I didn't make it inside the main building, I just got a trailer washout from the shop and then got it loaded next door. Not sure I am too comfortable with my bare butt on an electrified seat, and junior johnson hanging that close to water...
