Guess I upset some cosmic power cause everything that could go wrong has on this load.

For instance: Even tho AmeriCool had 2 empty trailers, they instead decided to make it a live since it would get out 'faster'..

Trailer I picked up at Walmart on last load was the only one and COMPLETLY empty. Thing wouldn't even fire up for more than 2 seconds. Was my first time filling up and priming a reefer trailer. Surprisingly for being run dry it only took around 15 minutes of pumping to get her going.

And lastly and the thing causing me the most headache right now.

Right in the middle of getting loaded the unit starts to throw errors. I don't notice this cause whenever the doors are open and a low temp set it always gives a yellow light so I just snoozed on. It's not till after I'm fully loaded and around 20 miles away things start getting bad.

Unit is shutting down after only running for 5 minutes and usually it won't restart till I manually clear the codes.

It's a Carrier unit, number 839***, and something seems to be wrong with the refrigeration unit.

    Error A22 - Low Suction - superheat.

They had me go 100 miles in the opposite direction to a Carrer repair shop in Chicago where I'm to wait on the street till 3am for a tech to show up and look at it.

I'm more worried on how they plan on fixing it. A quick search reveals the main components that can throw that error are inside the trailer on the unit.

They can't get in cause it's fully loaded.

What should of been a cake walk load has caused me so many headaches today. Can't do next preplan now and depending on how long the fix takes, if they can even fix it, won't make my current delivery delivery at Walmart either.

Quite possibly a sensor, and hopefully one that is accessable from the exterior. You're having a week like I normally see.

Mine is throwing a yellow code, but it isn't anything that causes it to shut down. Mine is a fuel level sensor not communicating. Unit runs like it should, just has the yellow light on all the time. And like you, it was the only empty trailer on the KC yard that wasn't locked down.

I got loaded yesterday with a few hours left on my day. So I decided to roll east to get a little closer to my delivery. There is some stormy weather coming thru and it was as windy as WY. Even with 42k in the fridge, it was a fight to keep it in one lane. After 45 minutes of the battle, I found a parking spot and called it a night. Now I am sitting here watching the radar and it is obviously a very small low that is causing this. I am sitting on west side of the circulation (somewhere between Manhattan, KS and Topeka) and the other side of KC is one the east side of it.(I am getting winds and rain from the north, they're getting wind and rain from the south). It almost looks like a mini hurricane.

I think supersnackbar can fend for himself without your insights, as useful as they may be.

Been one of those days so far. Woke up, it was pouring and windy. Had to make a donation to the porcelain political collection bowl. Walking across the parking lot, it wasn't just rain, there was sleet and ice pellets mixed in. After blessing the porcelain alter with my donation, on the way back to the truck, it was a rain/snow mix. Did my walk around, got the latest message from the redundant message department. And rolled out. Just before the final service plaza on the KS toll road, warnings came from the westbound that I-70 was closed in KC due to a couple of trucks playing demolition derby, so everyone was being routed onto I-435. At the exit before the 70/435 jct, KSDOT trucks were pushing everyone off there, so you had to get off, and back on to get to 435(why, nobody knows). I get around all that, and get back on 70 east of the city, then stop for fuel at my required fuel stop, and once again, they set it up so I was too low to request a new one. I pulled in the Higginsville Peelot, and there were lines 2 or 3 trucks deep. They had one pump shut down, one pump would only pump 50 gal, then shut down, and a third was over ankle deep in water and diesel because the drain was plugged. Plus, the pump failed to read my points card. Then, after taking a leak and washing my hands...only one out of 4 paper towel dispensers had power(they all had paper, just no power). I may just say the heck with delivering this today and go find a quiet place to park and contemplate my value to the trucking community.
