The good side, no 95db chime...the bad, I am stuck at 62 mph until it clears. My kingdom for a Maxxfarce powered Prostar

Finally got a diagnostic msg to pop up about the malfunction. Turns out, my camera is overheating...if it overheats when it's 50° outside, what's it gonna do when it's 100°

    runningman0661 and 650cat425 Thank this.

Mine had no effect on the speed at all. Still go 72mph.

Anyone who designs trucks for a living should've had to see one from the inside and ride in one first, ESPECIALLY to learn the safe way to go down hills without killing somebody. :biggrin_25510:

It does that on mine because Creaffer has 2 speeds on their governing. 62 on the pedal, 65 on cruise.

Ours are 70 and 72. Some of the older leased trucks will do 75 though.

So do they really think that they are saving a lot of fuel by forcing cruise control from 63-65 mph?

I already dont use the cruise on mine 90% of the time because of the moronic braking at random times for no reason or if any other vehicle gets in front of me within 500ft. I couldn't imagine being forced to use it to go 65.

Have you tried setting the cruise? When mine does that, if I set the cruise it will give me an option to enable "standard" cruise control.

    JoeyJunk and Bumper Thank this.
