Cruise is disabled when any of the nanny systems have a fault on this POS. If you hit the resume it wipes your previous set speed out.

I do believe they think they're saving big bucks...just like keeping the E-coast active. I checked the last time I was out west. I actually gained MPG keeping the e-coast from engaging by keeping my foot on the throttle a little while in cruise control. I think because every drop it saved by coasting, it wasted because it has to throttle up the rpm's when it's time to go again.

Well, I know it's a common belief that dispatch will do the exact opposite of what the driver asks for...and Shaffer weekend dispatch proved it to me this weekend. Yesterday, they pulled me off the load going to WA, when I asked why, I got no real explanation...but my comments were 'good, I didn't really want to go up there in the snow with this irritable truck anyway'...then this a.m., I asked (before leaving the truckstop) if I was assigned to another load since the previous pplan was canceled, or do I pick up an empty? I heard nothing from dispatch. So, I called them an hour and a half later only to find out, they put me back on the WA load yesterday, but never bothered to tell me...so, next week I might just tell them I never want to see what it's like on the moon...I'm sure I'll be scheduled on the next Tesla rocket.

E-Coast works great - with an ungoverned truck. With a governed truck it doesn't save fuel at all.

I forgot how boring and desolate US-93 and NV-318 is between Vegas and Twin Falls. 6 hours of 'hooe-hummmm, I need a nap' scenery and about 60 of the 360 miles with cell phone service.

It’s only there when you pull the fuse on the adaptive braking system.

Doing a short repower load, then pick up tomorrow in Pasco, WA going to Halifax, NC for Monday. And I need to keep the tires rolling to stay ahead of the next push of snow coming in. It was raining in ID and eastern OR. A little snow flying around Baker City. Cabbage was flurries, but all of that area was too warm for it to stick. Just after I got on 82 headed for Washington, my thermometer said the outside temp was 59. And a hundred miles or so away, Snoqualmie was under feet of snow. Mother nature has gone psycho.

Resers to Resers I’m assuming? If so there is a small truck stop with room for about 50-60 trucks down the roads from your delivery in Halifax. No O/N parking at receiver.

Go past the main entrance, and you’ll see a side street. Take a left on that street, and the entrance will be on the left. Drive past the first set of docks until you see another set of docks. S/R will be in that area. If you need more info let me know.
