Do you have an agreement with them to run only nights with no exceptions? Most places if you have the hours that’s a perfectly acceptable load. Hell it sounds like you could still run nights and stay up a bit later to deliver?

we’ve had guys that try to run nights only pulling a flatbed. They don’t last long until they change this schedule or are asked to leave.

Well, ya know, 074344 has the perfect job. Makes the most money, has the best time off, best benefits, equipment, you name it. And I say, more power to him.

They're bargaining with me on my next load. My current load isn't supposed to drop until just before noon, the next load is supposed to live load at 0830 in Vegas. They're trying to see if this load can drop earlier so I can get to the other load sooner. They said that they can get the live load time adjusted, but if I could deliver early, then I can pick up early...so they're trying hard to get that worked out...I love it when they use words like "is there any way you can....". Some planners I will go out of my way to help, some I wouldn't whiz on. The one needing my help on the next load is one I get along with fairly well, so we shall see. The load goes to a Wally DC north of Bakersfield for ASAP.

No agreement but I made it known from the start I don't do time swaps. I will run either a day schedule or night but won't swap back in forth. Been running like that past year or so and like it. Running OTR like I'm on a set schedule dedicated.

If it's the Walmart dc in Shafter, they should be quick, admittedly only been there once, but got in and out in about an hour. Load of frozen veggies.

It's going to Porterville, and it's supposed to be a drop/hook. Never been to this DC, so I hope it isn't gonna be a drop-n-hunt.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Anyone delivering to Unilever in Henderson, don't try to deliver earlier than the times they send on the Peoplenet. Got here at 0600 to try to drop early like weekend Op's suggested, they let you in, but have to wait until the early time on the drop window before they'll accept the load...at least they let you park here and wait. Now my pickup appointment will have to be changed and I hope I can get an empty out of here, otherwise the pickup appointment is a moot point. Plus I have to travel at least 200 miles before stopping, which is Boron, CA, so I hope I can get loaded, and get to Boron and still find a parking spot.
