I'm kinda the Earl Pitts of trucking, with a little bit of the late Andy Rooney (minus the fluffy eybrows) and the late Robert D Raiford (from John Boy and Billy's Big Show) mixed in.

The sales department probably accidentally booked a load that required a vented trailer and some Einstein A/M suggested the driver just leave the door cracked open a little..:laughing-guffaw:

I have gremlins in my truck. Yesterday, after fueling in SLC, I was rolling across the rest of UT, almost to the Bonneville Salt Flats rest area when I glanced at the screen of my Peoplenet. On the safe screen you see when driving, up where the top banner is, I noticed that next to my user ID (where it puts the log status) it said "Off Duty" (while I was moving), but the miles driven today line was clicking off miles like I was in 'driving' status. A quick check online, and it showed a purple line on line 3. I pulled into the rest area before the scales, and when it went to the log screen, it said I was on drive time. I shut down, changed to off duty, went wee-wee, started the truck and then the crash sensor had a glitch. Put it in gear, started rolling and the warning light went out, but then the f'g cruise control wouldn't engage. After 2 or 3 moderate brake checks, the cruise finally started working...and everything went back to normal. Jesus, I wish I could go one day without some oddball problem. I am starting to think I am cursed.

Once you start mixing OEM and aftermarket parts, everything turns whack in modern vehicles. Maybe you should get them to give you a 2023 auto?

HELL and/or NO. They have so many more nanny sensors on the newer Junkliners I would be more p-o'd more often than I already am. I would have to buy a 2nd claw hammer so I could be a 2-handed wrecking crew.

    Lonesome and nredfor88 Thank this.
