At the Petro? Yeah, there is still an Iron Skillet, but it's not 24/7

I wouldn't even of made that call. Shut the doors and headed off to assigned location. After reading this thread, there ain't no way I would've done anything except play dumb as a rock.

Since most employers are not dumb as a rock, they would have immediately realized that you were aware of the trailer being loaded. Why? Because a driver would need to be incredibly unintelligent to pull a loaded trailer without realizing it was loaded. The appropriate response from said employer would be to immediately can you for lying, being lazy, and being malicious.

I think the moment I realized I was a legit truck driver was about five years into my career and I was listening to a podcast going over Donner Pass to get to that Sparks Petro.

I realized at the end that I hadn’t consciously thought about shifting gears one time. I was so intent on the podcast that it all had come naturally.

Why??…for one, the trl was a sold unit that i was sent to pu to bring to yard to lockdown..so i simply called in to let them know there was product in the trailer…to sit there and state that because of one person who routinely complains about everything under the sun at every company he goes to be the truth is absolutely astounding…

You would have laugh at me last week when I was in that daycab with an auto....came time to drop a gear, the right arm was waving back and forth hunting for the gear lever without even thinking.

Just checked my weekly scorecard. I wasn't even in the truck during the time covered by this weeks report(it's generated around 18:00 on Friday)...and they claim I still had 12% idle time....WTF?
