My peoplenet does the same things (except the collision sensors, idon’t have those.) I just ignore it and occasionally have to enter a location.

Loads around Columbus are all so unproductive / short.

    Woke up to 3 preplans.

They wanted me to head back to the Walmart and swap my empty trailer with one that needs repairs and take it to our terminal. Then a preplan to head over to a Target DC and grab an empty. My actual load preplan after that was to grab a preload at a bath and body works bound for NJ.

It's the 31st and the preload won't be ready till the 1st for a 2nd delivery. Little over 400 miles for all this.

After questioning if the Walmart would allow me to use their facility as a storage place and swap my current trailer they removed all 3 plans.

Send me another unproductive load. Preload at a General Mills Facility near me headed to the Walmart DC in Mebane, NC.

Kicker is that it CANT deliver till the 2nd so 380 mile, 2 day run. Apparently nothing else for 'today' available so I just accepted it cause it's not going to NJ.

I know this areas market cause everything I'm sent to the Columbus area all the loads are either short hauls with weird times or loads headed further East. I've learned doing a load decline in this area, would just end up getting me another weird load.

Also I might add I got a new dispatcher. My old one got promoted so I was giving a guy that's been with the company 3 years but as a CSR and is new to dispatch.

    EDIT

    They pulled a fast one.

Took me off the Walmart run and gave me the NJ run. Don't have to do the whole Walmart to target trailer swaps.

Who would of thought I would get a 34 hour reset in at 47 hours on my 70.

Place I'm delivering is National Delivery Systems just south of Philadelphia. They say you can deliver from 12am to 10am but in reality you can't. Place is gated and no one shows up till 8am to open the gate.

Don't know why they switched me. Still have to wait a whole day till load is ready, and just around 100 more miles compared to the other load but it's all the way East.

I feel I should decline any load heading to the Ohio area cause we never have any good runs coming back out. At least I never was graced with one.

Did ask them to find something better right before shift change so maybe by morning they will take this preplan off and give me something with miles on it.

It isn't much better out of Cheyenne. They deadheaded me to the Denver #### hole drop yard to pick up a load that delivers tomorrow morning in Fountain CO. Before I got rolling this morning I told BH2.0 that I would be at the Cheyenne DC by noon with hours to run. And heard nothing. When I got to the FJ in Cheyenne(which is where they tend to route me to fill before going back to the DC) I asked if he received my new PTA message this morning. He said he had, but they took 'that' preplan off you...I said what preplan...he said the one they had me on...news to me, never saw it. I hope they get things back up to speed now that the holiday is long gone.

This is how a driver dropped at empty Reefer at Lincoln today… dropped it with pools up blood on the floor from a meatloaf and turned the reefer unit off… Much to say Lincoln got the pictures driver happens to be out of Wilmer so they sent the pictures to Wilmer for them to deal with the person… I know for a fact he drove from at least 85 miles away from Lincoln to drop that trailer at the yard so they went past one or more Truck washes before they arrived in Lincoln… I’m sick of lazy dirt bags who keep doing this crap
