The leprino foods place in Greeley I had the same situation a year ago where I wouldn’t make the pick up on time and they just told me to go on in there later in the evening to get loaded when I showed up there at Leprino they loaded me right away there was only one other truck they were not busy at all… Just thought I’d throw that out there for you

Red triangle means danger is near. Pull over before she blows Captain! We use Encompass ELD. I get those occasionally on this system also but clear up on there own.

Ask a DOT man if it matters. It throws that up when there missing data. In this case it shows missing engine hours, and the inspecting DOT cop looks at your logs and sees a discrepancy in the recorded engine hours reported on the ELD log, how does he know if it was because of idle time or if you powered/logged off to run off the books. My odometer doesn't always show up at every log entry.

Unassigned driving time is recorder. You either have to accept or deny it in your log, but it’s still there in the audit.

The warning should disappear once data is up to date and synchronized. It’s unlikely it would still be there by the time a DOT officer looks at it, and there would be an absence of logged out driving time in the record anyway. I don’t see any of that causing an issue.

The company might not like you logging out though and may react.

That red triangle is on on my Peoplenet more than it's off. Always meant to ask someone what it means but I always forget. Figured if it was something important I would have heard about it by now

I think the red triangle is a synchronization error. You’re supposed to stop and switch to paper logs because the ELD wasn’t working during the whole 24 hour period. But I don’t think anyone actually does that. At least I don’t. I just manually go on/off of drive line. I’ll probably get a ticket one day.

I get the red triangle if I change duty status without the engine running. If the little red engine is by the clock at the top and I go to off duty or sleeper from on duty for loading/unloading, the triangle is on there for a couple of engine starts, then it goes away, but on my logs it show an error.

    Lonesome Thanks this.
