Walmart sells a special size Ibuprofen especially for drivers who drive automated Cascadias.

That's about a 2 month supply the way I've been going. Plus, I think I bruised the ball of my right foot trying to get this slug of a truck to accelerate.

Crete is far from perfect...and I'm sure there are other companies..that pay more...but this ain't too bad for 2020..Almost $84,000 gross..makes it easy to put up with some occasional Crete BS 20210124_213828.jpg

The only problem is if you sign up with another mega turd carrier most will only have freight liners to offer and you will be back to square one. Plus when you start over your pay is held back a couple of weeks. Ins takes a month etc. If you haven’t burnt any bridges there or they aren’t reading your posts I’d give it some time and maybe another truck that you can live with will be available. You filing bankruptcy and moving to a local position might be great entertainment for us to read about but not a good plan long term for you. Just saying.

The company itself I am content with, it's the equipment I'm having the biggest issue with. In fact, that's the only issue I am having here. I wouldn't trade my A/M for anything, pay is almost as high as I had over at Wy-Moore after only 3 months here. Freight is plentiful enough that I haven't had any delay knowing what I am doing on the next load before I deliver my current load most times. And now that we're using the right pharmacy, my wife is way happier with the insurance and prescription coverage we have here than what we had at the other place. If I could get this #### truck under control, I wouldn't have any issues here.

therein lies the problem, another truck here will be equipped the exact same way unless I luck out and they find another KW. As for another company having Freighliner...that would be one of the questions I would ask before applying

The truck I'm in now has developed 2 new issues. I get a check engine light and a 2nd MIL pretty much every day. The check engine only comes on briefly 1st, then the MIL light comes on and stays on for about 1/2 a day, then it goes out. The 2nd issue is the inverter is going out. Every time the truck starts, the inverter trips like a low voltage event, then comes back on with nothing running other than the clock on the microwave. And if I try to use the microwave w/o the truck running, it shuts off completely and you have to raise the bunk and reset it. There is a small 400w 2nd inverter installed, I think the previous driver had a CPAP that he ran off the smaller inverter. That smaller unit runs just fine, and there is even a 400w battery backup under the bunk as well (not hooked up). When I am home, I may briefly hook up my 2000w inverter just to see if it truly is the inverter or if it's just old batteries. I am leaning towards a faulty inverter.

When using the microwave...I always idle the truck....so the inverter never trips off..if previous driver had a cpap..the 400 watt inverter...is wired directly to one battery so it doesn't turn off...when truck starts and stops

Had a Crete inverter...that kept tripping off...tightened up the cables...and it didn't trip again

I'll check 'em when I shut down today. Were they loose at the inverter or on the batteries?

Is the 400 watt inverter part of the equipment they sell the driver when the driver fails a company sleep study? Or is it company equipment?

10.4. was curious in case he/she might want it back. It's a pure sine wave, a bit more expensive than your average generic modified sine wave.
