Dispatch should know their games don't work with me. If they are willing to mess with my time, I'll mess with theirs.

After I deliver I'll simple park till I get a new load. Wonder if I'll have to wait till Monday but they already should know it would be faster to just get someone else on the load.

Way the load is set up, I would waste a whole day of driving just for 100 miles which is no good. Place doesn't open till after 12pm on weekends so would pu load then wait all night to deliver and shutdown.


This is how they original had it set up.

1 - 6/16 - current load picked up at 11pm going 580 miles for delivery anytime on 6/17

Preplans that came in:
2 - Preload ready on 6/16 delivering 90 miles away for a live on 6/17. Around 45 miles of deadhead from first load as well, and with clock, no way in H that I would make it.

3 - Preload ready on 6/17 going just 480 miles for a drop anytime on 6/18.

Not great but I could do it just fine. Fact they removed it means they easily could of gave the whole bundle to someone else but instead left me with the small one and gave someone else the other without any hassle. I'm not ok with that so will not move my truck till I get something else.

 

Delivered Lowes at Rockford Illinois...was told only load available...Rockford to Rolla MO...a whopping 385 miles..and can't deliver till Sunday at 1430 pm ??? ...I turned down that BS load quick....what the #### is going on lately ????

 

yesterday, couple of them said their gonna just miss the quarterly bonus. i wouldnt put nothing past cheap.....jmo

 

Drivers are held accountable for every mistake why aren't planners / dispatchers held accountable? If a paid employee isn't running drivers efficiently, which costs the company money, once again why aren't they held accountable? These are PAID! Employees? Doesn't make any sense

 

Woke up and noticed short load was removed so am happy but haven't received anything else.

Have also noticed last 2 weeks have gotten nothing but short runs. Haven't received anything over 800 miles.

Customers are either not booking as many longer runs right now or they moved to only give the longer runs to select drivers. Seems to correlate to when I got a new dispatcher so maybe the new guy just accepting any load from the planners and not pushing to get any of the longer runs.

 

Now I'm told either accept this non productive load...or sit till Saturday...and MAYBE get another load...or could be even late as Sunday ????

 

Who says they aren't? I've had 5 asset managers (not including on boarding) in 5 and a half years. Couple of them just disappeared. Possibly fired for not getting drivers miles?

 

I always wonder how much longer till they removed the unproductive option on the reject load list, and expect all loads to be accepted so long as we have the hours.
