I use to post the positive, but been having a hard time finding anything positive to praise lately.

Marietta checked out the reefer, even called Carrier. Carrier said it's doing what it should. Their explanation was, because the set point was so close to freezing, the unit won't over cool and cause the top layer to freeze (like when you have a -10 continuous load and the box temp will sometimes be -12 or colder). They said it was within the acceptable range. Plus, we're talking a full trailer load of eggs, stacked 6-7' high, wall to wall and all the way to within about 18” of the back door, so not a lot of room to move air.

Coming thru Ocala FL and....the clutch pedal assembly broke again...parked at the rest area before the scales and awaiting breakdown to send the hook. Traffic is waaaaaay to bad to run it like I did coming across Wyoming. I can't post the feelings I have right now...it simply wouldn't show anything more than a bunch of #####'s.

They really be pushing nothing but short hauls on weekend.

Will drop my current load around 10-11pm then next is 30 miles away for a 2pm live that had over 24 hours till it can deliver and is only 350 miles away.

Pick up has overnight parking so maybe they will load me early while I sleep there. We shall see.

    #### the luck SSB. At least this time you are close enough to home to go home while waiting for it to be repaired

Nope. Deland is 125 mi one way from home and the wife is out of town until tomorrow with one of her friends going to a 3 Dog Night concert in GA. I am staying with the truck to Deland, then I guess I'll bite the bullet and go back in an auto, for now. The suckey part, I already reserved the last parking spot at the Punta Gorda Peelot, and I was preplanned on a load out of Auburndale to Memphis.

Shop doesn't open until Monday unfortunately...plus who knows why this keeps happening. It has always had a jumpy clutch, and has made a weird noise when releasing ever since I had it. It has never been smooth like a mechanical linkage. I hate these hydraulic clutch systems on big trucks. I was smoother when I use to drive a Freightliner cabover with a set back steer where the mechanism was ahead of the transmission.

This looks a lot like the truck I use to drive only without the fairing damage

I kinda miss it. Rode rough, didn't pull worth a crap, but rarely had mechanical issues and you could put a 53' trailer in spots you wouldn't think about trying with these new trucks
