I hate shipper that ####ing lie.

Got to my shipper in NW Iowa at 1145 for a d/h p/u. Was told trl just docked, call the shipping office in an hour, should be done. Gave them an extra 45m and called at 1330. Was told should be about another 30m. Trailer was 65% ldd.

Got to thinking, might as well catch a nap and go split on the logbook. I like night driving anyway.

Woke up at 1830, called the office to verify the ld was done and get the trailer#. Office gal says trl was just put in dock and hasnt started loading. Asked her about my earlier call at 1330, told was docked and 65% ldd. She didn't answer immediately.

Then...

She hung up on me.

Sent in a msg to night manager's but as usual, they are useless as tits on a bull.

Just adding another customer to my no go list.

 

My cruise still works. Its just not that fancy automated kind.
