Any 30 minute period of on-duty status satisfies a 30 minute break, therefore yard moves can take the place of physically having to sit for 30 minutes, as long as it’s being used legally.

 

As long as you stay under 5 mph and don’t trigger your log to switch to drive you’ll be ok.

 

No yard move does not affect a 30 minute break

 

Or your 10 hour break, or a reset.
