Now they’re shorting pay…i scanned 3 loads last Wednesday prior to going on vacation and they only paid 2 of them..one they didn’t accounted for half my miles that week…fisrt they admit losing freight now screwing with payroll…I’ll confirming in the morning as what if any errors were done…it was a dry van load that was pulled from jax fl to houston area…

Yup agree with above got ####ed on a rescue load didn't get detention.... pu hot potatoes today 6.5 hour delay due to 1 tote not being ready yet, drive 3 hours afterwards to find out over 6 hours later I was supposed to repower load with team drivers that have been sitting at truck stop for over 4 hours... my 14s down to 2 hours... advance load to a secure and guaranteed place for swap to find out team drivers are pissed off and haven't moved a muscle... speak to night dispatch and ask what's up I'm tired been up over 16 hours now... get told go to bed they'll pound on your door if anything.... wow balls dropped all over things going down hill fast... absolutely no communication going on with staff and drivers... if someone would have told me about this at least I would of provided an eta to the team drivers but now they have an impossible team run which I'm feeling their refusing to do... things are always looking on the up and up here! And Mondays labor day so know your moving and it delivering or picking up make sure facility is open cause I found our sysco don't operate Sundays but it's OK to schedule appts on that day! What a mess! things are turning very dysfunctional here! Hope ssb is doing better

Stopped at the Loves in Jeffersonville to fuel trailer before dropping at the Walmart and heard a hiss sound.

From those holes, there's a crack that follows the thread line almost all the way around. Can almost peal the whole side of the tire off if you pull hard enough.

Sitting waiting on a repair truck since the Loves shop is closed at the moment.

And they can't say they didn't receive the paperwork because, at least when I was there, if paperwork wasn't in within 24-36 hours after an empty call, the system would send a message reminder telling you to scan in the paperwork.

The more I read about the problems building over there, the bigger smile I get when I think about my decision to get away from that 3-ring psycho circus.

I've been here 14 years, have only had one issue with one trip in all of that time. That issue was on me, as I entered the wrong trip number on the scan sheet. There are things screwed up at times, but my pay has never been one.

NY load I dropped was put back on me. Now however I'm to just pick it up and tcall it at our Columbus yard.

Dispatch going to look and see if they can get me a temp permit or something so I can run it to NY if they can't find a driver for it while I do my 10.

Found out the issue with payroll was this…I emptied out last Wednesday and for someone which ops just admitted that this happens more thank folks really know that they never received the empty call because it “ never went thru”…no one bothered to call in 8 days asking if i was empty..talk about disfunction..you’d think in 8 days they would be wondering why a truck hasn’t emptied out…they have gone downhill for sure..

Ended up just dropping the load for good.

No empties here sadly but a whole row of old 837 and 838 trailers locked out ready to be sold.

I'm told to just keep an eye out if anyone drops a trailer. Also told no loads in area till tomorrow morning.

Just a few more days till my 10 day vacation. 6 days to be exact.

I was with Shaffer for a year in '14 and '15 and not one month went by where there wasn't something wrong with my paycheck. Now it always got fixed on the next check after calling payroll, but one shouldn't have to call payroll every month to make sure they're getting paid properly. Makes me wonder how much they're getting over on drivers who aren't as diligent about checking their statements?
