Just wait until Tonn retires....and Winston takes over...the saying...things can't get any worse...may no longer be applicable

What do they expect you to do turn down the load and sit waiting on another?

Yes he i believe he still is.. when I find interesting is what I met him in person in Columbus over a year ago when kutter & aschoff were there Winston made the statement that they were going to 100% Thermo king reefer units because Thermo king required one less service interval, so in his opinion, he thought it was cheaper to do that but apparently somebody over rode him evidently because the newest trailers they are getting have carrier units on them…

he apparently also made the decision on the tripaks they’re testing in pauls valley that to install the apu’s directly next to the dpf unit, apx 6” away from it..

According to what I read, he didn't turn down the load, it just wasn't delivered at the earliest possible time shown on the load info. Sometimes the electronic nanny doesn't allow for delivery when the system in High Command shows the delivery window opens.

“Foolishness” sounds like the perfect word for that. What do they want you to do? Move slower?

That's it exactly...load had a 2 day delivery window...but computer said I said I could deliver 2 hours earlier than I did...but I still delivered load on time...

I think part of that at least is because since they changed it to getting a safety point for every trailer service, people have actually been putting trailers in for service, so they're getting done on time, and not having a ton being needed to be done at once. It's gone from every other trailer, seems like, needing service, to very rarely.
