Mine doesn’t say anything about idle time. Heck, we have apus on lots of trucks, and the drivers still idle.

Our new trucks all have APU’s, bu so long as you use common sense we fortunately don’t get hammered for idling, some newer trucks even have their idle timers turned off so when your APU hiccups you don’t have to immediately run to ThermoKing.

Haven't been told anything about my idle times yet. Had a month in the upper 40% and not a word from management.
Edit - just checked and I beat my idle record last month!mushroom1464 and Lonesome Thank this. -

Call me Parkay because I am on a roll!!! After I get empty in OR tomorrow, I head north of Yakima to pick up on Saturday, headed for SoFL for next Friday. Almost 3200 miles on a 1 pick, 1 drop load. This is why I chose temp controlled freight. On dry, you usually have shorter average length of haul per load...the only down side of this next load, it's a live load and unload, but for 3200 miles...I'll deal with it.
Swedish Chef, JoeyJunk, hotrod1653 and 11 others Thank this. -
Once I get my butt to south FL next Fri, that will be 21 days since I was last home. At delivery, I will have already turned just shy of 10k paid miles, around a 3333 miles/week average...told my A/M that if he's going to keep me rolling like that, I'll wave at the house as I pass by, and he can keep me moving since I am in the good freight cycle. I'm not sure if Creaffer gives a bonus to the top A/M's that work their tails off to keep their drivers rolling or not...but they should. It boosts dedication and loyalty when you feel that the person at the other end of the Peoplenet is doing everything they can to help you make money.

I made it back home to Ocala this morning and it’s well in to the 80’s, supposed to cool down a bit tomorrow though as some rain rolls through.
Itsbrokeagain and motocross25 Thank this.
