No kidding. These people lay awake at night thinking up more stuff for drivers to do.

They can think where they’d be if not for drivers. Pretty sure it wouldn’t be where they think. I com only hope it’s where some of us would like.

I got loaded fairly quickly this afternoon. Headed back to the same Love's I spent the night at to scale. Just as I round the corner to swing into the scale lane, the Love's service truck and their wore out trailer jumps in front of me just at the scale platform and Larry, Darrell and Darrell jump out and begin swapping empty trash cans for loaded ones, and proceed to joke around and take their sweet time. Then they pull to the other end of the scale and do the very same thing with the trash cans at the other end. Now, don't get me wrong, the trash cans were overflowing and needed to be dumped, but do we have to block the whole lane with a pickup. Got scaled, and rolled out. About the time I hit the interstate I get a call from my travel agent asking for some help. There was a loaded trailer at the drop yard about to run out of fuel, and he offered me $50 to run back and fuel it up. Since I have time on these loads, I accepted his offer. When I got to the yard and dropped my trailer, I did a quick once over on the other trailer, just to cover my arse. It was a -20 load, and this is what I found

A loaded running trailer, and no seal. I opened the door to see if it was really loaded and this is what I saw

The entire load was shifted and leaning forward. I proceeded to call Lincoln and talked to Risk Management. Turns out that the customer refused the load, so it is scheduled to be reworked on Wednesday, but they needed someone to fill the reefer tank up so that it make it until then. Would have been nice to know that up front. Had I just hooked to it and hauled arse, it could have further damaged the load. Instead, I babied it down to the Pilot down the street and put 40 gal in it and brought it back. Plus I took before and after pictures just to prove I didn't do any more damage.

And for anyone in the Jacksonville area, there will be a Blue Beacon opening soon at the Pritchard St exit on the opposite side of the interstate from the Peelot. The building is up, they're just needing to lay down the driveway pavement. A truckwash/washout is something desperately needed in that area.

Those aren't the only visitors, my son-in-law and grandson caught a couple baby duck thieves... needless to say, it was their last meal before dying from lead poisoning.

Do u even drive bro? The only time u post is to talk #### about people....

have u ever been to that loves ? There's like maybe 20 parking spots there total.... maybe employees that work customer service shouldn't have bad attitudes.. I have worked customer service before and everyday sucks but u don't be disrespectful to customers or u get written up . Pretty simple concept

I had something similar happen a month ago I was asked to help out a team in Wyoming that “broke down” and needed to rescue their pilgrims pride load to Oregon. I swap with them and get down the road and notice that the trailer was leaning a little to the passenger side. The next day the team I swapped with told me what happened. They hit black ice and the trailer went into the ditch. They were able to limp into freightliner in rock springs WY. They were pretty confident the load shifted. Would have been nice to know that the day before. Gave up my 22,000 pound 1,800 mile load for that. I get to the customer with a rescheduled delivery open my doors and the first two pallets have fallen facing me. Cases of chicken on the floor of the trailer I look up and see the rest of the load shifted to the passenger side. To no one’s surprise they rejected the load. Fortunately there was a place up the road to get it reworked. All in all I got 4 days of layover for that nonsense. IMG_3185.jpeg

it doesn’t matter… you’re a joke and frankly as @D.Tibbitt stated..you obviously are not a driver and all you do is literally post crap like this this.. and there’s only one person that is doing Karen behavior and we know who that person is… there’s a thing called customer service and frankly . I think someone needs to be gone.
