Yes..i had a call from a planner last week..it looks like it’s only on specific customers like tyson right now due to late deliveries and tyson threatening to remove lanes from us..frankly get rid of some these drivers who are f’ing up..im sure lack communication from the driver about delays are one part but also break in communication between the asset mgrs and the csr and lp…generally they preplan way ahead and so there should be no excuses…now of course there’s times when things get wrecked due to equipment issues and or customer delays such.. my asset mgr doesn’t really worry about me since he knows the tightest of loads i will get it there ontime short of weather delays or breakdown…

It's on the passenger side, you can't drive out of that side of the windshield too. Boggles my mind why you would sit around waiting for an answer, I would've never stopped to begin with and just called it in.

 

@supersnackbar I figure u are well versed in the sam crappa elog technology. do u know how to get rid of this ? Says a power event detected with a red box. Or what is causing it? What is a vehicle gateway cable?
Every once in awhile I get this notification but it goes away after a couple minutes. This one has hung around for a couple days, tried updating the app, still there..sign in sign out, same thing. our office people don't work on the weekend and don't wanna bother them for something dumb . Figured u might know what this is and how to fix it. Or if I shouldn't even worry about it.

 

I’m guessing that it’s just telling you that at some point it lost signal with the truck.

 

This happened to me in May of '21 just north of Stringtown in OK. Exactly 4 years ago. I ended up getting towed to some rinky dink shop near Sherman TX. No glass companies near enough in OK to come out cheap enough. Breakdown found a place in Sherman. Took them a day because they had to order the glass gasket. Truck only had 65k miles on it.

 

That happens to me all of the time with samsara on my phone. I just ignore it
