Found a malcontent way of answering the daily calls on Tyson loads. When they ask if I am gonna be on time, I just say "I dunno, we'll see when I get there. I iz gist a stoopid truk dreyever, you tell me if I am gonna make it on time...or ask your boss what they think, seeing as though they think we're so ignorant that we have to have cubicle dwelling desk drivers reminded to do everything but breathe and wipe ourselves"...then hang up.
And I spent the night at Wilmer last night. Not impressed. The north lot, 1/2 the parking spots are blind side like a Petro, the fuel island has no lights for night time fueling(if we're even allowed to fuel at night without adult supervision), the fuel island bathroom has 0 paper (like an SPD bathroom), the bathroom in the main building already has one crapper out of order, and the sink's faucet sensors are way out of adjustment. You have to wave your hands like a spastic mime to get a 1 second spurt of water. Huge waste of money that could have gone to better equipment or a few pennies more per mile.Last edited: Jun 17, 2025

Well I delivered to restaurant Depot last night in Houston and I noticed marten transport has dedicated out of there so I talked to a couple of their drivers last night and the second one I talked to said they’re getting ready to lose the account and after talking to him a little bit more I can see why they’re losing the account. Marten has the guaranteed minimum pay on that account of $1250 a week so the drivers are only doing enough to make the minimum and not go over it and the guy said he runs 1200 to 1500 miles a week and that’s generally what most of them do. They’re only do three loads a week… He stated that there’s no sense in trying to make over the minimum… No wonder they’re losing the account to Bay and Bay they got drivers that don’t wanna work and I guess the customer’s had enough of it

Also, at your age, how does your body do with flipping sleep schedules like reefer often requires? Do you think it's taken a toll on your body or are you used to it?
