Aaaand they just fell off my list of potential companies. I understand getting rid of redundant jobs but, letting them go with no warning burns my ###. At least give them some separation money, Wylie family don’t need it as much as their families might.

The screwed up part, the COO's daughter still works here (we are starting to refer to him as the CBSO...chief BS officer because everytime he posts a video explaining how things are getting better, the bottom falls out). She is somehow connected to our social media outlets.

Honestly, at this point, Wy-Moore should be on the "stay as far away as possible" list. They are trying to switch over and connect us to Wylies logbook system, but...like everything else these hicks try to do, it gets screwed up. So I have to download all my logs for 14 days (since I go to Canada) and run paper until they get their head out of their ### and get things sync'd. Plus, they screwed up my pay...again. According to Moore, I grossed just over $500 for the week for a round trip from Spring Hill to the other side of Joplin and back, then a 1500 mile run to Quebec. They never paid me for the load I busted my ### to get to Quebec yesterday. So now, I have to break the bad news to my wife that once again we will only be putting enough money in the bank to fill up her gas tank
STAY AWAY FROM THESE COW TIPPING INBREADS UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING POOR AND ENJOY BEING DISAPPOINTEDBud A., Bumper, Itsbrokeagain and 5 others Thank this. -
If you stick around for whatever reason maybe dropping the ‘U’ word to the other drivers might not be a bad idea. In your situation, no one can blame you for unhitching the wagon. What the hell, is it the COO, Wylie or both with a stick up their rear?
I’ll be honest I’m jealous you got on a killer company hauling glass. Especially going out to New Foundland! Hopefully next year I can get on with a glass haulers hiring in my area.
EDIT: Also the logs with my company just suck. It won’t log me driving or my location. Their main solution is to leave it in the shop and hope they’ll switch tablets. -
Yeah it's been slow here too but I spent almost the entire month of September at home since I wasn't getting any miles anyway. Now I start back up and get a decent week, which always seems to happen after home time. Once I've been out a month though the decent runs all dry up. It's like they're averaging everybody out even if we don't go home at all.
Except for the guys doing dedicated and some of those guys have averaged 3500 miles a week for the entire year. But they don't give the regular otr guys those runs most of the time. -
Well that just stinks! It's another reason why I think most, if not all, OTR companies are Junk! It's been proven time and time again. I don't know how you folks continue to do it? Maybe Lonesome "Here we go again" will chime in and help out. I doubt it but we will see. Good luck to you sir.supersnackbar Thanks this.

It WAS one of the better companies, that's for sure. I won't go join @runningman0661 over at FCC...Seems I have a way of bringing my bad karma with me to whatever company I work for and turn them into "just another trucking company"... wouldn't want to ruin a good thing for him
Itsbrokeagain and runningman0661 Thank this. -
No, nothing to chime in about. SSB ran well, enjoyed what he was doing until management started changing. Pulled the rug out from what sounded like a pretty good gig.88 Alpha Thanks this.

Never hurts to call, I’m not sure how far you live down into Florida, but you won’t know if you don’t call.

Well, it's official. We are now Wylie. New door stickers will soon be on, we will be contacted by Wylie management at some level to go over the Wylie way of doing things and answer any questions. They said in a message that after the new year, expect more changes... The one question I had, that no one would respond to was, "what number do I use for employment verification when I am filling out applications, Wylie or Moore's old number". Needless to say, the consensus among the drivers I have been talking to is...turn out the lights and start looking for a job because the party is over.
Western flyer, Bud A., Bumper and 2 others Thank this.
