It's like all other dedicated Walmart for SNI. Nothing special or terrible. I deliver there but not dedicated.

Walmart is an organized receiver - better the devil you know, sometimes. Check the shipping end and decide. I'm in a similar conundrum myself, different deal.

When you do store deliveries it usually pretty smooth. Live unloads at the DC can be a pain. SNI OTR usually drop and hook.

I worked there for 9 years before I got a job with Walmart Transportation! It's not a bad job, but I will definitely tell you what you can expect. Loads that leave out of that distribution center are a mix between frozen/dairy, meat/produce, and dry grocery loads. It's a 24/7 operation. You'll most likely be on a 6-2 schedule. You'll work 6 or 7 days, and be off for 48 hours. You'll also have to slip seat trucks until you earn an assigned one. You'll keep the same truck all week, and get a different truck the next week. The biggest thing that I didn't like about the account was the unpredicatability. All you could really plan on is when your days off where, but on your day to come back, you'd never know if you'd be coming out in the morning, or late that night. They will tell you to call in at 10 am for load info, and if they don't have anything, they will tell you to call back at 4 pm, then they will have you an all night run and you'll be expected to get your freight off before shutting down. That's the biggest thing that I didn't like about the account. However, there are some good things about the account. I live in London, so I go to go home a lot throughout the week, and the pay was decent. I just couldn't justify working for Schneider, when I could have worked for Walmart! Good luck in your decision!
