Snow plow taken out in Wy

I was just shutdown in Rawlins yesterday and the day before because of the weather. The road conditions along I-80 aren’t the best in that area. WYDOT was plowing and sanding in both directions but only the granny lane was clear for the most part. Some of the super truckers were flying along at 70+ mph(most of the highway is in the variable speed limit zone and with snow and plowing going on the limits were between 45 to 65 mph in some spots).

 

With the snow being kicked up even after plowing Billy Big Rigger probably didn’t see the plow until it was too late.

 

That's because he was driving too #### fast.

 

Just don't act surprise when they shut us down whenever the temps get to below freezing. Truckers will be the winter outlaws.

 

Who does he think he is...if he was in a Pete, he coulda got away with it, but a KW...nope (Pete = caddy/lincoln, KW = chevy/ford) maybe next time he'll spend the extra thousands to buy a red oval so he can really be a super trucker.

 

I believe we've crossed the line, they're all schmoes.( members here who still truck excepted, of course) Looks like they were empty, and big fines for striking an emergency vehicle. Not to worry, tho, this person will be trailer trucking tomorrow with a black replacement hood,,

 

Perhaps this driver will tone it down a bit.

 

I don't know, anymore. These crashes just don't seem to be any deterrent.

 

If a crash like this doesn't deter this super trucker from driving unsafely, then I suppose nothing will.

 

No, They'll just shut down all commercial traffic before the first flake hits the pavement. #Pennsylvania....
