I'm at the shipper now. There are 2 trucks here other then me. They look like they've been here all day. The shipper didn't operate today because of the power outage.

If i get stuck, thats fine! You & Dave can come entertain me over the weekend!! :biggrin_2556:

Well I was wrong. There were 3 trucks here & all 3 of them were stuck.... I wasn't.

I couldn't back into the dock because Melton was blocking it & stuck.... 2.5 hours of working on hime, I got him free & out of the way. So I backed in. Then the Peterbilt driver came looking for help.... I got him going as well. The daycab out of Canuckville has refused help..... So he sits.

I'm getting 47 thousand pounds on the trailer right now.... I should be fine!

Here is a pic of the snow on the trailer of the Melton truck.

BTW.... Melton trucks with their automatic transmissions SUCK! Can't properly rock the truck if needed to get unstuck!

Stay safe REDD I am sure as they dig out in Buffalo that they will be even crazier than ever trying to get back to 'life as we knew it!'

Buffalo is history. The major roads were clear as glass.... but those other roads were clogged worse then a toilet after a JB Hunt driver ate the buffet.

I'm in Lodi, OH now getting to ready to chow.... Oh, and it's snowing!

Nice little mini-journal there. Good to see you got in and out okay and helped some others along the way.

I saw the I-90 shutdown on the news this morning. They had patrols on all-terrain vehicles going out and taking food and water to the stranded motorists.
