You’ll figure all that out when you start driving. There are many different scenarios.

your the one planning your trip, so ask yourself if you got up early enough.

stop anywhere you can legally get into for lunch, they don't know or care as long as you deliver on time.

well, they shouldn't care. depends on how anal your company is.

when they axe why you stopped for dinner, use the old stand by, “What? bad area… breaking up.” then hang up.

You can wake up whenever you want. The appointments are set & you figure out what you need to do & when to do it so you are on-time for the appointments.

I usually woke up 2 hours before time to start driving so I could shower, eat breakfast, etc. You have appointment times & nobody wants to hear ANY excuse so you figure out what you need to do, if you have time, and show up on time. You might eat breakfast at the customer, if you bring food with you.

If you need to do all that stuff before you start driving, I guess you will need much longer than a 10 hour break.
Unless you only sleep 2 or 3 hours.
