Right to work is not the term you are looking for.
Right to work = union only shops are not allowed
At will = Can be fired for any or no reason as long as it's not discriminatory. Age, sex, race, etc.

 

There you go. Even on the news they refer to LA as a right to work state. Technically they mean at will lol

What "right to work" does is allow people to hire on at a "union shop" without joining the union or having to pay union dues. They would enjoy the pay and benefit package the union negotiated for without supporting the union itself. RTW politicians sell the concept by saying "you should have the right to work at any employer without being forced into a union."

Supporters of "Right to Work" legislation are really just interested in starving unions of dues by hoping more and more people choose not to pay them, and causing the unions to fold as a result. It is another example of a law that is given a misleading name to make it sound like a benefit to the voters. After all, doesn't every American want their "rights" protected?

 

In my opinion unions have served their purpose and are just getting greedy now anyway, when you're trying to make burgerflipping a 15 n hour job you're just stupid

 

People who don't want to work for a union, or pay dues should probably not apply for employment at union jobs. Or they can work for less pay and no benefits. I personally despise unions because I grew up in, and still live in a town highly influenced by them. Have had one union job, and never will again. Luckily I'm free to choose that. Every job I've had since that one pays better with better benefits. In my eyes the unions have run their course, and are now just extensions of the Democrat party.

Stop being in such a rush to get out out on the road. Check those seals... twice, check for proper Haz-Mat paperwork. 12 years in LTL without a mispull have saved my self a couple of times by doing a proper pretrip.

 

If a union isn't doing their job you should be able to not pay dues. If unions are so great they will be self support I.E people will gladly pay dues ex union, here hopefully never again

 

More like you offer to work for a couple bucks an hour more than union for very basic or no benefits
