Tell that to the mill that called the police on my wife, and had the charges dismissed. If they allow people there, they allow people with camera's there. Simple.
So i guess i'm "banned" from the Vegas TA

HA HA I mean seriously....It can't be ! -
They're arrested for trespassing because they have to be caught in the act. It's the easiest thing to charge them with that will probably stick and keep them off the street for more than 2 hours.

You should post YOUR proof...after-all YOU are the one that claimed

wow interesting debate here...
My .02
I think that until someone comes and asks you to leave the property you have every right to be there. Store owner / manager / security can request you stop taking pics or filming, but you are not considered a "trespasser" yet. If you refuse to leave when asked then you become a "trespasser". Now if you are taking pics of something that is on the property from the property you will need to stop if asked to. But... if you are taking pics from say across the street you can click till you want to stop, or until the angry guy comes over and assaults you and your camera.
I think you were ok taking pics. Just put it away when they ask you to. Don't act like you are entitled to do as you please either. They were only doing their job finding out what you were up to. IMHO -
I'm not in jail. Hah. And neither is Ace. Your turn.Last edited: Apr 26, 2010

And disingenuousness comes to the rescue....

Get your atlas at the end of the year, when they go on sale for about $35. Vegas is a rip anyhow; I hate that place. Never can win either.

We need to get a new thread up about old truckstops. Remember when a crew would come up and clean your windows and mirrors and come take down all your info while another guy would fill up your truck? No parking on fuel islands for an hour back then. I mean, a driver, really would feel welcome back then. Now the fuel desk doesn't even want to make eye contact. They hope you just use the outside card swipe and don't need to come in for a receipt.
