At least you’re not in Vancouver BC trying to figure out what an AC is, and how to operate it.

    Life is hard lol

I'm going to buy a $9.00 coupler so when it breaks again in10 years I'll know what happened. Last time the coupler was replaced according to the service tag the technician from Stack Heating and Cooling of Avon, Ohio was out for yearly maintenance in 2007 and replaced the coupler it's written on the service tag. On a hot water system the coupler that hooks the pump motor to the back of the impeller is the most common thing to break.

So true in Floridians don't need silly furnaces or boilers in there homes, those things are for people like me sitting up here in the snow.

The worst part about that sort of thing is companies like R.E. Michel who have everything, but don’t sell to the general public.

Funny Story... lived in Florida for 5-6 years now... a few weeks ago we were home and I thought I could smell something getting hot... not burning... maybe the stove... nope... looked around... not finding the source... asked my wife if she could smell it too... she said yes... and followed up with... “could it be the furnace I turned on a few minutes ago?”

WHAT??? We have a FURNACE???

I have issues to this day knowing what season it is. What's fall? What's spring? It's just always hot as sheet

The only season I know are the two weeks when it hits below 70 and I can open up all my windows and enjoy...

I think they call it “winter”... not sure.

You can tell its winter in Florida when your FPL bill drops below $100.
