Got the correlation and analogy between tyson chicken farming and fleecing when I saw this John Oliver months ago. Good post.

John should have went on with the story on how many workers, drivers, go without pay, sitting waiting for trucks to be loaded with these processed chickens.

 

It's still a mystery to me. Kind of a reach in my opinion, to use the chicken industry to explain truck business.

I've been thinking about this, and there's something we need to consider among all this negativity.
1. Some chicken farmers are not starving. (no, I don't mean they eat their product)
2. Some lease operators are successful.

Why is this true? I can't say because I don't really know. I do have some ideas about it, though.
