On the way to Wisconsin today, I spotted a Swift truck. On the other side of the highway... facing the same way I was. The camera phone snapped it about 1 second late, but you get the idea. I saw another truck lying on its side, and another one that had just been towed to the rest area, but I couldn't read the name (due to the fact I could only see the bottom of the truck).

So, your Swift stories are true.

Ripley's Believe It Or Not. Strange. Was it icy out? Was the Swift truck jacknifed? are there any more clues that you can think of?
-
Ya, we had a heck of a storm the night before. I was doing about 35-45 most of the way home from a concert. Kept getting passed by the supertruckers. I guess they just couldn't get all the wrecked ones off the road last night. The small town I neighbor (smaller than the one of 3000 that I live in) had something like 32 calls to the firehouse.

the only thing that makes any sense in this situation is MAYBE the swift truck was trying to assist the other driver that rolled over. Still hard to understand why he was facing the wrong direction though. It doesn't really make much sense. Maybe he didn't have enough coffee and was half asleep and turned down the wrong ramp !!! This is definitely a strange one.

No, they were two completely separate incidents... Swifty just lost it, driving in conditions above his skill level.
Maxiomega Thanks this. -
I don't drive for Swift and never have ever driven for them. But you are shown as a student. I am not sure you should be passing judgement as to whether he was above his skill level.
Just my opinion. -
Perhaps I'm just a student, but he should have pulled it over if it wasn't safe to drive. A four-wheeler can see it, a cop can see it, and I doubt it was put down as an unpreventable accident.

I'm not sure how "off-guard" you can be when the entire state's under a winter weather warning. The day before, we had a winter weather watch. Anyone in the midwest should've known the storm was coming. I'm pretty sure that checking the weather is part of the trip planning, but as a student I couldn't possibly know anything.
