I'm impressed with your dedication, man. If you mentioned it earlier, I missed it... and this phone is small, LoL..... are you in your 20's????? Not that it matters. Kudos to your sobriety. 6 months is a dang good start. Admitting that you are a recovering addict is phenomenal. I'm proud of you and I don't even know you. I lost my oldest brother to addiction about 10 years ago. . . it's a spot in my heart. I wish you only the best, man. Hope we keep hearing from you here.

    ps: you are VERY well-versed.

If you want to know what the FBI/CJIS System has in it's records on you, you can get a copy of your record. It takes a few months to get a copy, https://www.fbi.gov/services/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks Most States have the same thing, just find the Department of Justice web page, and look for requesting a copy of your arrest record.

    That's cute.

He should still answer No to all questions on the physical form.

    Why?

Then he would be falsifying his medical exam certification.

Why are you afraid of the truth driver?

This issue has been litigated repeatedly on TTR. If you truly want the answer as to why, read the previous comments or threads where this has been discussed.

Ok Driver.....I was just asking....no need to get defensive.

We all know why, It was a rhetorical question anyhow. We have only to answer yes or no. It is none of the doctor's business to determine if there might be a prior medical condition that would raise concern.

Answering no in this case is not falsifying anything... It asks if he uses drugs or alcohol.

The correct, and honest, answer is... No.

There was nothing defensive in my response. I knew you weren't actually looking for an answer to the question you asked--that's why I didn't answer it.

I just wish that we could get through one thread involving prior drug use and/or physicals without the self-righteous Dudley Do-Rights lecturing people.

You can not substantiate that without a drug test. You are relying on his words only, although he admitted to using being addicted to Heroin in the past. The DOT form asks if the driver has ever had a problem with narcotics in the past.
