You seem to have a reputation simply degrading anybody that asks about certain companies that they are interested in like everybody’s Beneath you because you allegedly drive for a private fleet …
Some of you guys are making it hard.

No not at all Boss. I was under the impression that you were in the DFW area. There are a lot better choices if you are in the area than the ones you have listed. Yes if you live in the middle of nowhere a mega may be your best opportunity.

I’ve been with Magnum coming up on 5 years now and It’s been a good experience. Not hard to beat Prime, Inc. though. I average 2750-2900 miles / week and with bonuses I’m getting 61-62 cpm plus accessory pay. Culture and people are great, as is the home time. We pretty much most of the country except no going to the SW or North of PA

Don’t get your panties all wadded up. I wasn’t shaming anyone. If he wants to join a mega so be it. I just suggested that there was better choices if he was in the Dallas area. Take a breath.

Honestly everyone. Until the invansion over the southern border is complete you can, if unhappy, find a smaller company. I found one and went to orientation in the Owners office. Just me and the owner. "He" talked about the job, he gave me my driving test, he showed me the shop, he explained the health insurance, as well as his wife, they made my dot medical renewal appointment, and UA. He showed me the Kenworth Truck and the Trailer I would be using. He was an owner operator for 3 years after he got his Diesel Mech License, then opening his Trucking Co and Shop. He added Fuel Pumps and tanks for customers as his shop is right off the highway there. No drivers lounge, no showers, its not 24/7, all which was disappointing. He has 20-25 drivers, as some are part time, seasonal, depends. Insurance Med, Vision, $276 for me. I was hired very very quickly. Did not go through Clearinghouse for anything. They use Keep Trucking ELD. I am waiting to hear from him about the UA results, do not use tabacco, pot or drugs. I do go to brew pubs on my time off. Those are fun and the customers are not pot head, meth heads. I just take high blood pressure medication 20mgs lisinipril, so my medical card is for only 1 year. Heart sounds good, no glasses, no hearing aids needed. The route is 800 miles then empty, get another load then 800 to 950 miles, empty out, get another load, and that is the loop. I should be starting on Monday. You can do this too. Do not go straight to a mega. I worked for mega's in the past and those companies have too many non driving employees that come first. The drivers really come second. 90% of the time. The non driving positions, those employees think they are the company, very rude, very self centered, self righteous, woke, and you work for them. Like the dc is today. We are just taxpayers, and at megas you are just a lowly driver. God Bless you. Your trucking dreams can come true, but if this country keeps electing the people that they are? If they are allowed to win elections through lies, cheating, help from social media, fake news, and fraud. Its not really going to help. They will target the guy I work for first, and a mega will get all his customers. Remember only support the party that mentions God and the Lord Jesus. One does the other doesn't. Take care.

Who said anything about a Mega? I mean, seriously? The closest to a mega out of all the companies I named is Abilene. Magnum, FCC, Holland, are all small outfits with less than 350 trucks, which in my opinion, is a far cry from the 1000's of trucks Swifty and other "Mega's" have.
