So I've got this thread in my watched thread alert.
http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...e-metal-thing-that-hangs-in-the-front.268791/
When I go to the thread, there's no new posts shown. In fact, it's an older thread, and the date for the last post shown fit right in with the rest of the thread.

Something strange here?

I have that happen every now and then. The way I have found to fix it is to go read all the threads I want to read, then "Mark Forums Read", then wait for a few minutes, refresh, and the post will show up as a new post.

We see that from time-to-time and haven't figured out a fix for it yet. It seems to be something related to one of the add-ons, in that it usually happens when new members post their first post to those threads. You'll notice a thread showing a new post, but when you click on it, there is no new post.
If you'll bump that thread with a post of your own, that will make the other post show up. Some of the other suggestions here might work, but that's what I do, then delete my post. I understand that others can't delete their own posts, but if you want to bump the thread when that happens, just report your post and we'll delete it for you.
I fixed the thread in question and the newest post is now visible.Admin, bullhaulerswife and Big Don Thank this. -
However, since I can now see the post, I have to thank dog!
I believe this is the first time I've ever run across this particular situation.d o g and UsualSuspect Thank this.
