They've reduced the estimated rain total in my area to up to an inch. Amazing how much of a difference 90 miles makes. J'ville is expecting flooding from both storm surge and rain amount...we're getting light to intermittent rain.
NavigatorWife and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this. -
Everyone be safe and vigilant down there.
Sadly and not surprisingly, Matthew has already killed over 500 people in Haiti(the country is still reeling from the 2010 earthquake)-that should tell everyone what kind of storm Matthew is and it shouldn't be taken lightly.sdaniel, texasbbqbest, TROOPER to TRUCKER and 1 other person Thank this. -
I've seen hurricanes go in between Houston and Port Arthur, then up I-45 then quit over OKC and San Antonio and Austin and most of the area west of I-35 literally not get a drop of rain.

Everything I have is fully furnished. I could leave with just the clothes on my back and be fine. When I drove you could say I had another home lol
