Spare key

    Anyone know where I can get a spare key other than the dealership for a Freightliner Cascadia? I have the original copy i just need too make some spares.

    I would try a locksmith. Sometimes hardware stores can make them, but they don t always work right when they duplicate them

    If you just want spares to open the door get them made at a hardware store. Keep the originals in the ignition.

    The door key isnt as critically cut as the ignition.Lowes can do a door key.You may have to wiggle it when you turn the lock but it should work.The best idea Volvo had was a drivers door that only locks with a key.

    I don't know about freightliners but peterbuilt always had to get them from the dealer never found a hardware store that carried them.bought the blank from dealer then went to the hardware store to cut it

    If you ever get through Lincoln,Ne Shoemakers truckstop makes keys inside the store.

    Why not go to a Freightliner dealer?
    They have truck parking.
    Plus they don't charge much, usually less than 5 bucks.

    Well l locked myself out of my idling truck for 1hr in N Carolina. Not one of my finest moments and I have never been able to recreate that incident again.

    I didnt lock myself out.
    Nearest freightliner where I am now wants 11 bucks just for one key.
