    Came on this accident today.
    Schneider was not at fault.
The lady ran straight into him at 80+.
Nothing left oh her or the SUV.
Whether you're in a truck or a car, I say to you slow down.
    There is never a reason to be in a hurry. 2017-05-24 06.44.57.jpg 2017-05-24 06.44.09.jpg

Physically, a little banged up and bruised. Mentally, a basket case.
As of this post, they are just now cleaning up the after math.

Mr Ed, driverdriver, bzinger and 3 others Thank this.

Suicide, plain and simple. Poor orange was in the wrong place at the right time. Could happen to any one of us.

    Don't believe it was suicide.
Witnesses say lady was driving at high rate of speed. Hit the curve, over corrected and went right into Schneider who was doing the speed limit.
One witness that the lady passed saw her drift into Schneiders path and the SUV literally exploded into thousands of pieces.

Hi rev, call it what you will, someone driving like that didn't want to live long. That never happened to me ( almost hit some guy standing on the shoulder in traffic in Chicago once, advancing into the lane) but I swore, if that ever did happen, I'd pull the pin right there.

Glad the driver is physically ok, hopefully he/she will be able to get back behind the wheel afterwards. Hopefully the Safety folks at Schneider don't try and put a preventable on their DAC.

You're right. There are far to many on the road today that get behind the wheel, and for whatever reason, common sense seems to go right out the window.
They all forget that gravity and the dynamics of a moving vehicle don't mate very well. Gravity will always win.
What really gets me though, is how all these car companies brag about saftey features.
Yet when you consider the impact of this type of accident, safety features are a wash.

    driverdriver and bzinger Thank this.
