Idk if I'm being petty?? But this receiver is spray painting the metal on top of the flatbed. Theres no way it doesn't get all over the place. I'm next and gonna tell him there's no way hell you're doing that on top of my flatbed. Am I wrong? They spray paint the front of it as well

I dont think you’re being petty. Try and have a conversation about it though. Saying there’s no way and hell your doing that may not be a good opening line. lol

Tell him when the crap is off the truck, he can paint it as much as he wants but until then, no paint.

went through this once with a construction crew who painted the products and spilling paint all over the trailer, the consignee paid for the clean up and downtime for it.

I agree with the statements above. Clearly they are used to dealing with carriers that tend to run at least cosmetic junk. It would take little or nothing for them to lay down a tarp to prevent over spray.

I started off with. You need to spray that? Ya no. He asked if he could lay down some cardboard. I said no there's a good breeze through here you can paint it when I leave! Just my headache rack was over 5k. I'm not risking any over spray.

Well he's obviously mad and making me wait now lol.

Pretty soon he may get mad enough to unload it. That is the goal line...

    No, and absolutely no.

Ask to see the boss - the hell if I’ll spend tens of thousands to have professional looking gear to have muppets give it a graffiti job.

Next question if they cop an attitude is “Which is your vehicle in the parking lot?”

As you rattle a can of spray paint.

You did the right thing by telling him no.
