Starting C-1 Springfield 2-20-2012

Pre-approved and all ready to go to C-1 in Springfield, MO soon. Then onto USA Truck after. Will keep y'all posted on how everything is there.

I let my CDL drop several years back due to being down on my luck, well that and a divorce doesn't add any to it for sure. I just couldn't at the time afford the medical exam. Which is really sad. Being still in not very great financial shape I knew i would have to use a company paid training program to get back into the seat as it were.

I have to say that the process with Driver Solutions was very easy and enjoyable. I have worked with several other companies before and the recruiters always were very rude, but with D.S. my recruiter seems to actually enjoy their job. I say it is a nice change of pace. With anyone starting out in the industry you should come across people that make you feel like you are making a good transition. Even though it might not be. lol

I have worked for two other "Large" companies and am interested to see how the C-1 experience and following training with USA truck stacks up to the competition.
