Just to clarify for new guys in class and guys considering Millis. I am satisfied overall with the experience so far, I just needed to vent a bit of frustration with one aspect of my experience so far. I am absolutely glad I chose Millis. I am sure once I get past the 5 weeks with the trainer and get my own truck Im gonna feel like christmas morning.

P.S. if you wanna keep your money dont play poker with Kenny in Trenton lol

In CVille on 10hr break, and so my trainer can do a train the trainer meeting so he can keep training. Just got off of a few days of home time which as a nice break, got to cook up and eat some real food. Took the first shot at Ohio's CDL test and failed, don't agree with what was considered encroachments and the break test part tee'd me off but it is what it is and will just retest now that I know how they run it. Nailed the entire pretrip, but the examiner didn't give me the break test part so that fails it. Said when I was talking about the protection valves popping they where already popped out. No clue what that meant as they popped after the red light and while I was still doing the test. For you Ohio people, when they say you only get 2 get out and looks during a backing part it means only 2, if you get out a third time they can make you pull out and start it over. Also when pulling up, if your trailer isn't inside the cones yet you have to pull out the way you came, can't pull forward and straighten up until after your trailer has gotten into the box, so make sure you can nail your approaches enough to get the trailer in.

we've all been there (well Ive been there I should say). Not sure I understand your comments about the valves. If you pushed them in and pumped the pedal to bleed the system and they popped correctly - then you did it just fine! But maybe I am misunderstanding something.

I was in C-ville for the class. Cant say I saw you?

No misunderstanding on your in. The valves where in when I did the pump down my trainer even heard them pop and he was a good 30 feet away during it. Not worrying to much about it figure its a way for them to increase revenue. And I missed you in cville I walked into the driver room a couple of times but it was packed every time with trainees waiting or drivers.

Training was a great experience, my trainer was a+ got to see all different terrain and weather outside of snow was always ahead of it. Will post more down the road.
